I'm baaaack.....

'In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away'

I've really been enjoying Instagram (and have spied a few familiar faces) and part of the fun has been joining this hexie flower swap. So exciting to be receiving flowers from various spots around the world and even  my postmistress asks which country am I posting flowers to this time.

My baby girl grew up (not all since blogging last)

and stretched her wings to move to the UK for a year or more to teach maths. Needless to say I had a few weeks of being a soggy weepy mess, but after she arrived was thrilled that, thanks to this wondrous online world, we keep in almost as regular contact as we did when she lived in Australia although nothing is quite the same as popping next door to visit.

My eldest boy then broke the news that he is moving to Canada at the beginning of next year but he will be staying with us for a few weeks before leaving so, like Scarlett O'Hara, I'll think about that tomorrow.

With so much emotion, retail therapy has been in much call and the opshops have been welcoming me with open arms - mainly because I've been coming loaded with my girl's no longer needed goods but I've been returning the favour by clearing their overcrowded shelves.

and eBay seemed quite pleased to offer these gorgeous Tilda fat quarters which I was equally pleased to click 'Buy it Now' on. They are still at petting and stroking stage but I do have a project in mind!

So that's a brief summary of my last 6 months. Here's to catching up again soon.
